Over the weekend there is a symposium on Kenneth Rexroth also taking place on campus. Please feel free to pop in and hear some of the poetry readings taking place in Millenium Hall (the location of our Welcome Reception on Friday evening). This event is free!
A SYMPOSIUM ON KENNETH REXROTH (1905-82)
Come join us the weekend of October 6-7, 2007, at Kanda University of International Studies in Chiba: Home of the Kenneth Rexroth Collection of 13,000 Volumes.
We will celebrate Rexroth's passionate and philosophical poems of love, nature, and liberation, his wise essays, and his translations from Asian and Western languages

On Sunday, KUIS is host to the Scottish Highland Games. Over 1500 people are expected to attend this event, so the campus will be buzzing! Please note that attendance at this event cost 1,500 yen.
